About Storehouse Church

A vibrant and growing community, Storehouse Church is located in Plymouth Meeting, PA. We are a church that is on a mission to Love God and Love People.

At Storehouse, everything we do revolves around our mission statement: Know, Grow, Go. We believe these are three key experiences that give you the optimal journey toward a growing relationship with Jesus.

Know

Invite you to develop a personal relationship with Jesus. We believe God wants a close and personal relationship with you that will impact every aspect of your life. He can be known personally, and we want you to know him. Your will get to know God as you read the Bible daily, reflect on it, and pray asking God to direct your every move. Your relationship with Him will be strengthened as you gather with others each and every week at our Sunday Celebration Service. A personal relationship with Jesus is the key that unlocks the power of God in your life.

Grow

Join with others for on-going growth and encouragement The goal as you travel on your spiritual journey is to grow closer to God and other Christ followers through biblical community. At Storehouse, we connect together weekly in small groups to grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. This happens as each group explores the truths of Scripture, prays for one another, encourages each other, and applies God’s Word to their lives.

Go

Use your time, talents, and resources to impact our world Every person can make a difference by putting their love for God and others into action through using their time, talents, and resources to impact our world. We help you discover your God-given talents and provide opportunities for you to contribute in the church, in our local communities, and in the world.

Our Vision

  • An authentic Biblical community that gathers publicly and from house-to-house.
  • A partner with regional service agencies, making a tangible difference.
  • An incubator of new groups, leaders, pastors, and churches.

Our Core Values

  • We will do anything short of sin to reach people who do not know Christ. We will go to places where no one is going to reach people no one is reaching.
  • We will be known for what we are for and not what we are against. We know that we can do more together than apart.
  • We are spiritual contributors not spiritual consumers. We don’t go to church, we are the church.
  • We will lead the way by making a tangible difference in our community. We will not sit on the sidelines, but be active participants in God’s plan on earth.
  • We will do big things, step out in faith and take risks as we will follow Jesus wherever He leads, whatever the cost.
Storehouse Church is committed to reaching out to people who are far from God. Rather than run from culture, we have chosen to harness it to connect with people and show them the life changing power of God’s timeless truths found in his word, the Bible.
Although our approach is anything but traditional, we believe in and maintain a conservative theological position.

  • WE BELIEVE in one God, who is eternal, all-powerful, and absolutely Holy; who has revealed Himself to man as existing in three distinguishable expressions of His essential being: The Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; and John 14:15-17).
  • WE BELIEVE that the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments (the accepted canon of Holy Scripture) is God’s eternal, inspired, infallible Word in its entirety; and is the supreme standard and final authority for all conduct, faith, and doctrine. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Corinthians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:19-21).
  • WE BELIEVE Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8, 17; Romans 4:25).
  • WE BELIEVE in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12-15; Romans 5:11).
  • WE BELIEVE in the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as an expression of Christian faith. (Ephesians 5:18; 2 Corinthians 6:14; 7:1).
  • WE BELIEVE in eternal life for believers: a literal heaven, where we will live and reign with Christ and eternal punishment for unbelievers: A literal hell for those who reject Christ. (John 5:24; Mark 9:43-58; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20:10-15).
  • WE BELIEVE the church is a local community of believers unified through faith in Christ. The church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ. (Matthew 16:18-19; Acts 2:41-47; Ephesians 1:22-23).

Volunteer

We have a place for you to get plugged in at Storehouse!

We believe that every person that calls Storehouse his or her home church should participate in ministry. We call our volunteers ‘partners’ because we are all in this together. The Bible says that we are a ‘body’ and we are all needed in order for God to do what He has in mind to do at Storehouse.
