5th Sunday

5th Sunday is about me, you and all of us working together to make a difference in this region.

When a community is faced with a history of broken families, drugs, violence, gangs and a declining education system, there is often a loss of hope. The dysfunction becomes the norm and the community continues to spiral in the wrong direction.  5th Sunday is an opportunity to reverse that trend by partnering with area organizations who are in the trenches – day in and day out – working to make a difference in the lives of many.

We would love for you to join us for our next 5th Sunday!

  • Free Market: Donations: A Free Market is a unique way to provide for families in need.  The Free Market is stocked with ’gently used’ household items that you donate.  We invite families to ‘shop’ (everything is given away for free) at the Free Market.  Please save your household items and consider donating them at the end of April.
  • Free Market: Volunteer: Help support the Free Market by joining a team to load in and load out, staff the various departments, sort donations, or greet our guests.  Openings on Friday night, 4/27 (sort and setup) and Sunday 4/29.
  • Health Fair: The Health Fair will provide medical and dental screening for our neighbors in Norristown.  We will offer need-based referrals to practices that can offer appropriate care.
  • Coordinated Homeless Outreach Center (CHOC) & Laurel House: Join a cleaning and/or a work team at CHOC or Laurel House.
  • Brandywine Assisted Living at Senior Suites: Through games and interaction you will share God’s love with the residents of the  Brandywine Assisted Living Center.  Perfect for families with young children.
  •  ComeUnity 6k Race Staff: It’s 5th Sunday on Saturday (April 28th) as we provide the staff to support this exciting ministry initiative.
